Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Total Time 10 minutes


  • 1 ripe Hass avocado
  • 2 –3 tbsp. agave
  • ½ cup of milk almond, soy, or regular
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • 4 oz. 56% cacao baking chocolate melted
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder


  1. Cut avocado in half and remove the pit. Using a spoon, scoop out the flesh and put in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add cocoa powder, agave, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sea salt
  3. Melt chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally
  4. Pour the melted chocolate into the blender/food processor and puree until creamy
  5. Taste and adjust for desired sweetness
  6. Spoon the mousse into a pastry bag. Pour into small cups.

Recipe Notes

Enjoy with your favorite fruit, chopped nuts, or coconut flakes on top, or all by itself!
